  1. If you see comments here about investing or brokers, they are scams. Videos about cryptocurrencies, evidently including ones that are just about the underlying technology/math, are hotbeds for attracting nefarious actors preying on the impressionable.

Also, hi! If you’re new to this channel, most of it is about visualizing math. I get it, you probably landed here searching for how BTC works, not to spend your afternoon getting pulled into learning about, say, prime numbers or problem-solving, but if you have a moment take a look at the rest of the channel, you may enjoy what you find.

  2. and thats where this system is flawed – one day a super computer will break this key and guess the SK altogether and control every dollar in it – we keep assuming these " really complicated codes" are going to mean anything to an AI – at some point an AI will execute the will of an individual

  3. Soooo just to clarify, 21 million is the the maximum amount of bit coin that can exist and there is no way for that to increase or decrease? I understand just about everything else just had that one question. Thank you for making it understandable

  4. There is something I'm confused about the fraudulent blockchain example. Whenever someone sends out information, do they send out their entire block history? Or just each individual transaction? If it is the former than a fake blockchain could take control because it is longer, even if just for a moment. Also, how would Alice send the fake blockchain only to Bob? Are most people only informed of the longest one by whatever program they manage it with?

I feel like I have a better understanding, but at the same time have so many more questions. At a glance, it looks like there are so many loopholes, but I suppose that may just be me not being able to fully wrap my head around the process going on.

  5. ALL cryptocurrencies are total fairy tales. The ONLY 'reason' they 'work' (so far) is there has been some idiot willing to pay the holder more than was paid by the prior idiot. Albeit, there are several suckers born every second. There is absolutely ZERO intrinsic value in any of this digital fantasy script. It's all a fkn grift, playing musical cyber-chairs which 'works' only until the music stops.

  6. How and where is money put into and taken out of cryptocurrency stored? That is, if I exchange Bitcoin for US Dollars, where does the USD come from actually. IS there an account somewhere?

  7. Bitcoin is completely obsolete. It is not possible for it to be used as a real world currency. It's junk at this point. Wall street selling naked contracts, jacking up the price on this worthless crypto.

  8. If only you know what the future says, you'll know that indeed cryptocurrency is the future, investing in it now will be the wisest thing to do. Hold!!! And you"'ll thank yourself

  9. This is the reason why I never would do bitcoin or whatever; despite my usual 2 mugs of coffee start up DOSE, after 5 minutes I simultaniously DOZED OFF and got annoyed beyond compare! 🤬 I think I am really allergic to this stuff.

  10. Brilliant video, really cleared a lot of things up, I've been using crypto for a couple months now and I really wanted to understand how it worked, even if only at a beginner level.

  11. Wow 3.5k people hit not like on this educational video? Wow that's 3.5k worth of morons that saw this video awesome. Btw 3.5k people that's math for ya did you see it? idiots lmao. 12. Damn it man, I thought with technology we were supposed to make life easier and not more fucked up!! Sad that we have all the tools now to make a moneyless society but here we are playing monopoly 2.0. Woe is mankind and unworthy of gifts.

  13. What's to stop criminal organisations from establishing super mining farms to perform illicit transactions and mining to vote them as proper?

And who gets to decide the mining reward rate at what point of time?
